     PARISH MANAGER:  MARIETTA TACOPINA

     Marietta grew up in Greenwich Village, Manhattan where she attended Our Lady of Pompei Grammar School and graduated from Cathedral HS (St. Joseph downtown Branch). She worked as Legal Secretary on Wall St. for 13 years. For 3 years she worked as a pre-school assistant teacher at St. Peter’s Grammar School, Staten Island before becoming Parish Manager of Our Lady of Pity Church in 1990. Marietta’s husband Joseph is a retired draftsman/facilities manager and they have one daughter Teresa Tacopina, MD.
